Greetings Mr. President,

My name is Jamie Stepanian-Bennett, just a regular Midwest guy. I live in Berkley Michigan a suburb of Detroit, and I would like to invite you to Detroit to have a beer with me.

I was/am continually inspired by you. It all started with your speech that you gave in 2004 at the DNC convention. It was then I knew I had to do something. Then you ran for President in 2008 and I was all in. I was so fired up that I decided to get involved myself to make Berkley a better place to be for my family, and ran for Mayor in 2008.

While I lost the campaign, I’ve followed your career and was one of the millions that felt HOPE.  Regardless of today’s political climate, I still have hope in the United States because people like you are around, and I would like to personally thank you. I believe now is the time more than ever to understand WHO is next,  WHAT is next and HOW I can help create the bridge of these divided States of America. I’d like to talk to you about your leadership fellowship, life, sports and parenthood.

Please consider this a very sincere invitation in hopes to sit down at the Gaelic League of Detroit with me for a pint of Guinness. I’d like you to envision a solid conversation with a 37 year old guy who just wants to make an incredible life for his family and friends.

I truly appreciate your consideration and personally thank you for everything you’ve done for not just me and my family but for everything you’ve done for the United States and planet Earth.

With gratitude,
Jamie Stepanian-Bennett
